Student interest in our girls’
school and college has surpassed our expectations and,
as such, the campus can no longer accommodate the growing
demand. In order to give women a healthy dose of modern
and religious education, we need to move the girls’
college to a more spacious area. The Anjuman has acquired
two and a half acres of land recently to shift the girls’
institution to a much large campus. As Bhatkal’s
real estate market is quite expensive, we bought the land
at a very steep price. The shift to the new campus will
cost the Anjuman $350,000.
The engineering college building has
cost around $1 million. We want to update equipment and
facilities to cater for new courses taken up recently.
The cost estimates are $300,000.
We plan to start a degree and training
course for qualified teachers and the building and furniture
will cost around $100,000.
We also wish to establish a scholarship
fund to educate poor students in engineering and management
fields. As education in India is at a premium, we are
also constructing a free hostel to accommodate such students
from all over India.
To improve and upgrade the Islamic
Research Centre building which is expected to cost $70,000/-.
Initiating a scholarship fund for
the benefit of poor deserving students, and enable them
to pursue higher studies.
Introducing post-graduate studies
in various disciplines in the engineering, arts, science
disciplines in the engineering, arts, science and commerce
colleges and the Institute of Management.
To build a separate building for the
Institute of Management and a library block for the Engineering
College estimated to cost $300,000/-.
To build a new administrative building
for Anjuman expected to cost $25,000/- the College for
Women with a library and laboratory block expected to
cost $50,000/-.
To build staff housing quarters for
200 employees and their families.
To establish a training college for
primary school teachers and a degree college for Bachelor
of Education estimated to cost $60,000/-
Shift the girls school, POC college
and degree college for women to a bigger campus estimated
to cost $225,000/-.
